My schedule is changing again. Weekdays, I do the strength workouts; weekends, I do aerobics. At least I didn't forget to take my body test this week.
Saturday, I watched the Race while jogging in place. Sunday, I walked and jogged around the neighborhood. Walking isn't even working up a sweat for me any more! It does help warm up the muscles, though: I was getting a cramp in my left leg, and walking helped work it out. Then I jogged until I couldn't stand it any more, walked until I could, jogged until I couldn't...
I deliberately took a path that would make my last leg uphill. I jogged that last bit, and even "sprinted" home. It was the most intense aerobic workout I've had since I started. My legs are still sore.
Although I gained some weight this weekend (spaghetti dinner, popcorn and candy at the movies, Chinese food with my parents-in-law), my Wii Fit age was always good. This morning I did my Arms/Abs workout, and I think I'm almost ready to increase my Push-Ups and Planks exercise. Better yet, my middle daughter let me carry her to bed, and she noticed I was getting stronger.
Maybe aerobics on the weekends isn't so weak. My Wii Fit age has been staying low. And I'm getting stronger!
